On July 20th, bevvy’s — Toronto’s leading non-alcoholic bottle shop — in partnership with Henderson Brewery, is hosting the city’s first non-alcoholic beverage festival this month. The inaugural Soberish Fest will give patrons a chance to gather together to enjoy a drink or two, whether alcohol-free or not (the choice is yours)!
The event takes place on Saturday, July 20th, and is divided into two sessions—the day session (from 11 am-4 pm) is more family-friendly, will feature live music, and is open to all ages (although guests under 19 are only permitted to attend the day session). Patrons can drop by with their kids, bring their on-leash dogs, and sample dozens of beverages curated by Bevvy’s. The evening session (5-10 pm) will be for patrons 19+, feature a DJ playing disco tunes, and have the same array of amazing beverages — but with a party vibe.
Four food vendors will serve up a variety of tasty options throughout the day. To chase your meals down, non-alcoholic drinks will be offered by 10 premium vendors, but Henderson’s taproom and a beer-to-go shop will also be open for festivalgoers to enjoy alongside non-alcoholic vendor offerings (bonus: cases as well as single-serving drinks will be available for purchase to take home).
Whether or not attendees decide to drink, they can learn about the diversity and quality of non-alcoholic beverages, showing just how far these drinks have come in recent years.
Parking will be available on-site at the site of Henderson Brewing Co., as well as underground parking next door, but the venue is within walking distance to UP Express Bloor Station and Dundas West Station.
Location: Henderson Brewing Co. 128A Sterling Rd, Toronto. Tickets are available here for $20/ticket (kids under 16 are free). The venue will also accept cash plus all major cards at the door on the day of the event, provided the event doesn’t sell out prior. Your ticket provides you with entrance into the festival, a branded festival glass for sampling, and one token for a welcome beverage of your choosing. Additional tokens for drinks can be purchased at the festival for $3.00/token.
After Soberish Fest, check out this other festival taking place in Toronto this summer.
